The relative density of PA610 is relatively small, the water absorption is lower than nylon 66 (PA66) and nylon 6 (PA6) “single 6 and double 6”, good dimensional stability, easy to mold and process. The mechanical strength is close to PA66 and PA6. It can withstand strong alkalis, and is more resistant to common weak acids than double 6 and single 6, but it is easily soluble in formic acid.
It can be formed by injection, extrusion and spraying methods. The resin needs to be dried at 80-100°C before processing, and the processing temperature range is wider than nylon 66. The injection molding temperature is 230-260°C, and the pressure is 68.6-137.2Mpa. The mold temperature is 60-90°C, and the extrusion molding temperature is 225-270°.
PA 610 is widely used in machinery manufacturing, automobiles, and tractors to make gears, bearings, gaskets, sealing materials, oil storage containers, oil pipelines, textile machinery parts, ropes, bristles, silver-zinc battery shells, etc.
