PP/PBT alloy
Polypropylene (PP) is cheap, rich in materials, and excellent in processing performance. It is an important general-purpose resin. PP/PBT alloy has good heat resistance and chemical corrosion resistance, but phase separation is prone to occur when PP/PBT is blended, and simple mechanical blending cannot meet the requirements of PBT engineering. Therefore, it is necessary to add an appropriate amount of compatibilizer during the blending process of PBT and PP to make the system phase dispersion uniform, increase the thickness of the interface and enhance the interaction, thereby reducing the interfacial tension and stabilizing the morphology of the dispersed phase.
