Translucent white with a glossy finish. It’s simple to color. Because of the very tiny particles, the surface of nanocomposites is significantly smoother than that of glass fiber composites.

Thermal characteristics: Tg = 60°C, Tm = 220°C (PA6 and nanocomposite have the same Tg and Tm). HDT is at 150°C (unfilled PA6 is around 70°C).

Resistance to chemicals: Resistance to oil and many organic solvents is excellent, as is resistance to bases and mild acids, but not to strong acids. Mechanical characteristics can be degraded when high temperatures are combined with water.
