30% Glass Fiber reinforced GF30 PET Chips for PET Transformer Skeleton

Pet has polyethylene terephthalate, which is the most important thermoplastic polyester. The English name is polyethylene terephthalate, called pet or PET (hereinafter referred to as PET ).

It is a polycondensate of terephthalic acid and glycol, together with PBT, it is called thermoplastic polyester or saturated polyester.

Pet has the following advantages:

1. It has good mechanical properties, impact strength is 3 to 5 times that of other films, and good folding resistance.

2. Resistant to oil, fat, enoic acid and dilute alkali, resistant to most solvents.

3. The heat resistance of pure pet is not high, and the heat deformation temperature is only about 85 ℃, but after the strengthening treatment, the heat deformation temperature is greatly improved. The mechanical properties of Glass Fiber Reinforced PET are similar to those of engineering plastics such as PC and PA, and the heat deformation temperature can reach 225 ℃; pet has good heat-resistant aging, embrittlement temperature is – 70 ℃, and it still has certain temperature toughness at – 30 ℃; pet is not easy to burn, the flame is yellow, and the burning oil drops off.

4. The permeability of gas and water vapor is low. It has excellent gas resistance, water, oil and odor characteristics.
