Polyphenylamine (PPA) resins are semi-aromatic polyamides made from benzoic acid or phthalates. There are both semi-crystalline and non-crystalline, with a glass temperature of about 255 degrees F. Non-crystalline PPA is mainly used in applications requiring barrier performance, semi-crystalline PPA resin is mainly used for injection molding processing, but also for other melting processing processes below mainly introduced the latter – semi-crystalline PPA resin, except specifically noted. The melting point of the semi-crystalline PPAS is approximately 590 degrees F and is supplied as an opaque rectangular slice. PPA modified raw materials, better CTI/arc-resistant and infrared convection than PA46, PPA has better chemical resistance than PA46
