Thermoplastic polyurethane elastomer TPU is between rubber and plastic and has many excellent properties; as follows:

1. Excellent wear resistance: Its Taber wear value is 0.35-0.5mg, which is the smallest among plastics. The addition of lubricants reduces friction, which further increases wear resistance.

2. Oil resistance: The oil resistance of TPU is superior to that of nitrile rubber, and it has excellent oil resistance life.

3. Low temperature resistance, weather resistance, ozone resistance, TPU’s weathering resistance is better than natural rubber and other synthetic rubbers, and its ozone resistance and radiation resistance have special uses in the aerospace industry.

4. Environmental protection: TPU does not contain enhancers, is non-toxic and tasteless, and does not contain plasticizers.

5. Hardness range: The hardness of TPU is 10A-80D, and it has similar compression deformation characteristics below 15A. The product characteristics are still maintained when the hardness is above 85A. As the hardness increases, the tensile tear strength increases, and the relative density stiffness, environmental resistance, and compressive stress increase.
