The rubber particle size distribution of the product has bimodal characteristics, high gloss and high impact resistance. EPDM is not compatible with the block rubber and forms large particles as dispersed rubber phase. Due to the high degree of unsaturation of EPDM, it is necessary to add a higher concentration of peroxide crosslinking agent (di-tert-butyl peroxide) to stabilize rubber particles and improve grafting degree.
