PET/PBT compounds modified material
Advantages: Polyethylene terephthalate (PET) and PBT have similar solubility parameters and similar chemical structures. The mixed system of the two has good compatibility, and only one glass transition temperature Tg appears.
Disadvantages: When PBT and PET are blended, a chemical reaction will occur to generate block copolymers. These block copolymers are prone to transesterification in the later stage to generate random copolymers, reducing the molecular weight and mechanical properties of the polymer, and ultimately affecting the quality of the alloy.
Blending alloy modification: The main purpose of blending PBT with other polymers is to increase the notched impact strength, improve the warpage deformation caused by the molding shrinkage, and improve the heat resistance.PET/PBT compounds modified material.
