Main features of PEI:

　　1. The Chinese name of PEI (polyetherimide) is an amber transparent solid, with good flame retardancy and low smoke, and its combustion rating is UL94-V-0.

　　2, PEI has strong high temperature stability. High temperature resistance, heat distortion temperature up to 220 ℃, can be used for a long time under the working temperature of -160 to 180 ℃.

　　3. Good hydrolysis stability, high temperature resistance and steam resistance.

　　 4. Polyetherimide has good UV and Y-ray resistance.

2. Application field

　　Because of its excellent comprehensive balance performance, PEI has been effectively used in the electronics, electrical and aviation industries, and used as a metal substitute for traditional products and cultural and daily necessities. Using PEI instead of metal to make fiber optic connectors can optimize the structure of the component, simplify its manufacturing and assembly steps, and maintain a more accurate size.
