Product Details
PA12 is a very good electrical insulator and its insulation properties are not affected by moisture. PA12 is available in many improved variants with regard to plasticising and reinforcing properties.
Compared to PA6 and PA66, PA12 has a lower melting point and density and a very high moisture recovery rate; PA12 is not resistant to strong oxidising acids.
The viscosity of PA12 depends mainly on humidity, temperature and storage time. It flows very well.
Typical applications for PA12 polyamide 12 or nylon 12 are: water meters and other commercial equipment, cable casings, mechanical cams, sliding mechanisms and bearings, etc.
